On Saturday, May 16th at 2pm Leelanau Cheese Company will be hosting a mozzarella making workshop! Master the art of hand stretched mozzarella! Our expert staff will demonstrate how to craft this satisfyingly simple cheese from local milk and a handful of basic ingredients. The secrets of this gastronomical wonder will unfold as you learn to stretch bocconcini, pull string cheese, and form burrata. After class we will taste the mozzarella along with other charcuterie bites. In addition to the mozzarella you make in class, you’ll take home a rock-solid, repeatable recipe for home production.
