Mozzarella Workshop- TC Food and Wine Cheesiest Valentines Weekend
On Saturday, February 14th at 2pm at Leelanau Cheese Company get ready to stretch, pull, and fall in love with the art of cheesemaking! As part of TC Food and Wine’s Cheesiest Valentine’s Ever weekend, we’re inviting you to join us in the creamery for a hands-on mozzarella-making experience. Whether you’re joining us with a partner or a group of "galentines," you’ll learn the secrets to crafting the perfect, milky-fresh curd from scratch. Learn to stretch bocconcini, pull string cheese, and form burrata. After class we will taste the mozzarella along with other charcuterie bites. In addition to the mozzarella you make in class, you’ll take home a rock-solid, repeatable recipe for home production.

French Valley and Leelanau Cheese - Special Tasting and Talk
Enjoy this special tasting and talk led by Nik from Leelanau Cheese Company. Guests will enjoy an engaging introduction to the local creamery, learn about their cheesemaking process, and sample made-to-order raclette cheese melted over traditional accompaniments, paired with French Valley wines. After the talk, you’re encouraged to settle in and enjoy more food, wine, conversation and live music in the tasting room from 4-7pm.

Wiener Ski at Shady Lane Cellars
We are bringing back our annual beloved event at Shady Lane Cellars! Embark on your next Cross Country Ski adventure with us on our ski trail that is comprised of interconnecting loops rolling through our vineyards. (For more information or for a trail map, visit our XC Trail page!)
Leelanau Cheese will be joining us to serve their beer brats on a pretzel bun with sauerkraut, whole grain mustard and topped with melted raclette, to bring the "wien" in Wiener Ski!! (Nik will be serving brats at first come first serve starting at 12 pm)
Don't have your own ski's?? NO PROBLEM! We have paired up with Suttons Bay Bikes to handle all of your rental needs. They will be hand delivered to Shady Lane first thing in the morning. Please visit their link to reserve your ski's today!
