30 Years ago on March 1st, Leelanau Cheese Company made their first batch of Raclette and Fromage Blanc. While the first few months worth of Raclette aged in the cave, they sold only Fromage Blanc.
On Saturday, March 1st at 2pm Leelanau Cheese Company will be hosting a Fromage Blanc workshop to commemorate 30 years of cheesemaking! Learn first hand from our Cheesemakers how we make our delicious cheese spreads! You will be guided through the cheese making process, learning the science of what makes this cheese special and how it comes together. You will be shown how to create your own flavor from a variety of mix-in's, or make any of our signature flavors with your own twist! The Fromage you mix in class will be yours to take home to share with family and friends.
The class will be held at our creamery at 2pm on Saturday, March 1st
